Independent Marine and Cargo Surveyor. Area of specialization is the carriage of steel products on ships, relating to claims for damages to the various types of steel productsThe major activity is the review and analysis of case evidence relating to steel damage claims under negotiation or in litigation or arbitation.


The analysis of voyage temperature logs/records, with particular attention to cargo ventilation. Daily duties as surveyor involve surveys onboard ships and barges, as well as joint-surveys at final destinations of the products.


A number of surveys concern forest products, rubber, fruits and vegetables, general cargo, the condition of ships and investigations in fires/collisions.
